SOMOS IGUALES IS TAKING A SMALL GROUP TO LAKE ATITLAN TO EXPERIENCE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKES IN THE WORLD AND TO ABSORB THE AMBIENCE OF THE INDIGENOUS VILLAGES AND PEOPLE AROUND THE LAKE.

We will pick you up at the airport and head for our base on Lake Atitlan, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. We have arranged lodging on the lake shore where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking view in the spring like weather.
The native Mayan Indians continue to live much as they have for centuries even speaking the language and dialects of their pyramid building ancestors.
We will take day trips to the many interesting villages in the area.

- Market day in Chichicastenango
- Semana Santa procession in San Antonio Palopo and other villages
- Market day in Solola
- Excursions to various villages on the lake.
We can even do a optional trip to the ruins at Tical for an additional fee which can be paid after arrival.
